Welcome to The Country House Conference 2024!
Join us at Filoli Historic House & Garden for a day filled with insightful programs exploring the history of the country house in Northern California. Since Spanish colonization in the 18th century to the ’49 Gold Rush, Northern California was long been the land of bountiful. For a lucky few that bounty led to prosperity and the ability to build country estates to soak in all that California has to offer.
The conference offers a look at some of these properties and a holistic understanding of how Californians have created some of the most beautiful and important historic properties in the country.
