‘Birthday of the World’ Rosh Hashanah

September 29 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Celebrate the Jewish New Year with Peninsula families with babies and toddlers. (0-5 years) (New Parents) (Jewish Parenting)

Bring a blanket and join JBN’s Carol Booth and all our wonderful JBN partners in a beautiful outdoor space at Kol Emeth for our Rosh Hashanah Birthday of the World Party! We will have healthy treats including apple snacks, round challah, and “honey” (agave for the little ones) — and maybe a little birthday treat as well.

The suggested donation for this event is $18 to help cover costs. No one is turned away, so please give what you can.

Bonus! Krembo bakery will be joining us with delicious kosher Rosh Hashanah treats for sale for you to take home for the holiday or enjoy at our event.

Registration is appreciated but not required. Registration helps us plan and be in touch in case anything changes. You do not need to be a member of Kol Emeth or any organization to attend this event.

Our programs are designed for families with children aged 0-36 months, but bring the whole family! Grandparents and extended family welcome too. We always have great snacks, fun art supplies, and play spaces for older siblings too. We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ+ families.

JBN Peninsula Sponsors: Congregations Beth Am, Beth Jacob, and Kol Emeth.

JBN Major Funders: The Koret Foundation, Rodan Family Foundation, and Leslie Family Foundation.

Jewish Baby Network is a program of Jewish Family and Children’s Services’ Center for Children and Youth. JFCS supports families from newborn to the elderly. Please visit the JFCS website for more information about all their great programs.
