Join GreenTown executive director and permaculturist Kris Jensen, food history and policy geek Peter Ruddock, and Kathryn Lukas, chef and fermentation guru, on GreenTown’s annual Edible Tree Walk! We’ll begin our tour at Los Altos’ heritage apricot orchard and proceed to walk through the surrounding neighborhood to learn about the various trees that produce something edible. You’ll learn fun facts, history, and how to incorporate these foods into your cooking. If you’re a foodie, a history buff, or would just like to learn about the trees around you—this walk is for you!
