Planting for Pollinators at the Refuge – EVENT FULL

December 15 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Help restore our wetlands to benefit the native plants and local wildlife.

Come out to the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge for a few hours to restore wildlife habitat. While you are removing invasive vegetation, planting new plants, or laying down mulch, you’ll get to enjoy fresh Bay air, see lots of birds, and learn from restoration experts about why this work is so important.

Community service hours available.

REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE:

*Must acknowledge that you are 12+ years of age and you are here on your own time, if you are 12-17 years of age that you will have an adult responsible for you during the entire event.

*If you feel ill on the day of the event, you agree that you will not attend.

Hosted by Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful, San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory, San Francisco Bay Wildlife Society, and Valley Water. Registrants will be added to the email contact lists of each organization to receive their monthly e-newsletter.
