San Jose Christmas Bird Count
Come join us for the annual Christmas Bird Count in San Jose! This is a great opportunity for people who have no birding experience but would like to help count birds for this annual event. All ages welcome. This is the 124th national Christmas Bird Count. The San Jose count began in the 1950s. This year’s count will take place on Sunday, December 15th. We will be meeting at the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy – Visitor Center to embark on a fun day of birdwatching and counting. We will continue along the Guadalupe River Park watching for birds along the Guadalupe River and surrounding areas from 880 to Julian Street. Binoculars are recommended, we will have some limited supply!
