All ages are invited to join a guided tour of the historic house and gardens on a beautiful September morning. The garden will be bountiful with fruits and vegetables ready for harvest!
FREE ACTIVITIES
For Families: Free Guided Nature Hunts
Families will love our experiential exploration and treasure hunt in the garden. Taste, see, feel, smell, and listen — little scientists will use all their senses to learn about edible plants. To join a guided nature hunt, meet in front of the house at 10:15 AM. Welcome table opens at 10 AM. Crafts and hands-on activities will be available until 12 Noon.
For Adults: Free Garden and House Tours
Our September guided tours will include a look at Gamble’s exciting edible garden and some surprising facts about that fascinating nightshade family of plants. Our historic house will be open and decorated to celebrate the harvest. Adult tours meet in front of the house at 11 AM.
