SOFIA CLAIRE and ALEX LUCERO

Redwood City native singer/ songwriter SOFIA CLAIRE continues to captivate her audiences with her sensual vocal style and love for all things cowgirl. Having opened for acclaimed artists like Wynonna Judd, Jon Pardi, Dylan Scott, and more, she offers a mix of beloved country hits and original songs that always have the audience on their feet!

Born and raised in small-town Oakdale, California, ALEX LUCERO began developing his musical talents at the age of 16, performing live throughout his local scene and turning heads everywhere he played. At the age of 23, he moved to Santa Cruz to pursue music full-time. His velvety, gravel vocals and bass/guitar prowess still transform any room where he performs.

Influenced by the soul music of the ‘60s and ’70s, Alex successfully blends the styles of his idols, meshing Soul, Blues, and Americana music, while making it distinctly his own.

He has released six full-length albums – five with The Live Again Band and one solo project that was recorded and produced by his good friend Adam Patterson with The Expendables, entitled “Shine”. Whether solo or accompanied by the band, all of Alex’s projects showcase the raw abilities of his unbelievable voice and musicianship.

His records have received a phenomenal local response, enabling Alex to maintain a serious presence and following. He plays weekly in the San Francisco Bay Area and all over Santa Cruz County, averaging 300 shows a year!

In 2019, Lucero made strides in expanding the reach of his live shows, securing major venue support spots at the Saratoga Mountain Winery and The Catalyst for performers like Chaka Khan, Michael McDonald, The Monophonics, and many more.
