Program description:
The concert will include choral and solo/duet renditions of all-time favorite Persian classical as well as folk songs, all with new arrangements by the Bay Area Persian Choir, along with some of the choir’s own new compositions, some premiering for the first time.
About the Bay Area Persian Choir:
The Bay Area Persian Choir is a community choir which serves the larger San Francisco Bay Area and strives to preserve, cultivate and promote the rich heritage of Persian music. The choir’s repertoire is comprised of new choral arrangements of Persian music classics and folk songs as well as new compositions.
Naser Sheikhzadegan is the music director of the Bay Area Persian Choir, who also provides vocal training and music theory lessons to the choir members. Come join us!
